Girl Chat: Easter Baskets

Girl Chat: Easter Baskets

Hi everyone!

I’m exciting to participate in another fun link-up party. Link-up parties are great ways to connect with other bloggers. I’m still a baby blogger so I would love to meet some new folks! Today, the Girl Chat theme is discussing what’s in our Easter Baskets. I’m linking up with Danielle, Emily, Lindsay, Lizzie, and Sierra.

Growing up, my parents concocted elaborate scavenger hunts with clues hidden in eggs. I usually received candy, clothes, books, other fun gifts, etc. Now that I’m older, my Easter basket may look a little different!

Here are some of my favorite spring items that would be perfect for your Easter basket (or at least mine!)

I featured this nail color on a previous Friday Favorites post but again, it is a perfect shade for Easter.

After putting away my sweaters and scarves, I’ve been looking for some reasonably priced floral tops. Amazon has a wide selection that are super cute. Here’s one I thought would be perfect for spring!

I love shopping at Sam Moon! They feature a variety of jewelry styles so there is something for everyone. Pricewise, they are very affordable! This dainty trio bar necklace would be a great everyday piece or cute with an Easter dress. Side note- I purchased necklaces for my bridesmaids through Sam Moon as part of their gifts!

This dress from Old Navy would be a great option for Easter, an afternoon spring wedding, or attending a shower. The trio bar necklace would also look great with it as well.

I’m a bag lady and I’ll be the first to admit it. I have a bag for literally every purchase. I love crossbody bags especially when shopping or running errands so my hands are free. This bag from Target would be great for running around or for use on vacations.

The Pioneer Woman (aka: Ree Drummond) is one of my favorite chefs. I have most of her cookbooks and keep up with her blog and Food Network show religiously. When she partnered with Walmart to showcase her unique country style, I was tempted to sell all my current kitchen items and buy everything from her line. So far, I’ve shown great restraint and have only purchased hand towels. Ree’s home and kitchen lines at Walmart are so vibrant and colorful and she features new designs for each season. This throw pillow is so adorable and would brighten any room!

Clinique Happy Heart is what I often wore in high school. It has such a clean, floral, and fresh scent. It certainly makes my heart happy!

Of course, I can’t leave out the obvious! My ideal Easter basket would contain candy! Give me all the Reese’s Bunnies!

Hoppy Early Easter,

Shan
