Top 10 School Themed Flicks
Today’s post is a quick one. No recipe but my kitchen is slowly becoming functional again! So here it is…another top 10 list!
I enjoy watching “themed” movies during their respective season. When I was thinking of some school related ones that are my favorites, I was informed that I have only seen a fraction of these type of movies. Soooo I need you to comment below and tell me what I’m missing and what I need to see!
Before I get started, here are some other Top 10 Lists of mine 🙂
Disclaimer, I think any movie directed by John Hughes would fall into this slot (Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, Weird Science) All of them are terrific but this one is my favorite! Personally, I don’t know any better movies about being stuck in detention
Elle Woods…welcome to Harvard!! This movie was on repeat for me during college because if Elle Woods could do it, by golly I could too! Also, Warner, you stink!
It just doesn’t get any better than Grease! I used to watch this movie as a young child. Now that I’m older, I’m like wow! How did I miss out on all of their innuedos! Anyone else experience that??
Lots of memorable quotes from this movie. I remember being 14 when this movie came out and thinking, “Oh please don’t let high school be like this!”
10 Things I Hate About You
This one…because it’s Heath Ledger.
Dead Poets Society
One of my favorite Robin Williams movies. Just watch it 🙂
Ugh I can’t believe I put this one on here. It’s because I like Kip and LaFawnduh #couplesgoals
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
I know I said earlier that I would group all of the John Hughes movies together but this one is too iconic.
This movie is too outrageous for words. Yet it made my list!
To be honest, I think I like both versions equally!!
So like or not, those are my top 10 school related flicks! I do have a couple of honorable mentions: Easy A, Twilight, Juno, High School Musical, Drumline, and Just Friends. I would also like to add that I forgot School of Rock and Bad Teacher! Thanks Amy and Maureen for looking out for me!
Would love to hear what your favorite “school” movies are!
